Motivate: Mid-Week Mantra: Take Control
Take control. What does this mean to you? What does it mean for you to be in control? When it comes down to the day-to-day, much of what happens is not within our control. The only thing we can control is our reactions, our choices.
We in the fitness world talk a lot about "no excuses", and this pertains to control. If you are making excuses about your poor choices, then you are not taking ownership of your control, your power. Your inner power can fuel you through difficult situations and dilemmas. Saying no to the donuts in the break room - not because you "can't" have it, but because you are choosing not to have it - changes the narrative.
Take back your power. Take control.
