Mid-Week Mantra: Show Your Support
Our fitness goals and starting places may be different but we are all on the same path to getting healthy. That's why it's important to remember your only competition is with yourself. You are only trying to be a better you, not the person running next to you on the treadmill. If we support and lift each other it makes the journey not only more enjoyable but also more likely to continue. This can be done in a variety of ways from checking in on a friend to high-fiving the person next to you in a group workout class. If we do this instead of criticizing or judging we create a better energy to keep not only the other person motivated but ourselves as well. Encouragement is always a welcome companion on any journey so why not spread some of it around? Get out there and show some love!
