Are you smiling? If not, do it. Right now. Why not? Even if you're having a bad day chances are you have at least one reason to smile. Now, don't you feel good? So you're smiling at your computer or phone and people who see you, well, they might just smile, too. It's contagious. Ever smile at a stranger and not get one back? Hardly ever, I'm guessing. It's a universal hello and everyone understands its meaning. I think we forget how much a simple gesture, not only makes us feel good, but others too. Now let's extend the smile to a positive thought. Replace a current negative and see if it makes your smile even bigger. See where I'm going? Some friends and I were discussing how your attitude not only effects your life but others as well. You never know who you're impacting with your positive attitude. Don't get me wrong, we all have our tough days, but we have choices. We can either find the silver lining or the focus on the storm cloud.
Have a goal and are frustrated you haven't met it yet? Smile. Fell off the fitness wagon and are considering quitting? Smile. Bad eating habits getting the best of you? Smile. Smile because you know those things happen but it's not the end of the world. Tomorrow is another day to work toward your goals, hit the gym or do a video, and make a new health plan to eat better. You always have the opportunity to change the frown. Keep smiling!
